SUNGARD as a vendor

I ran into a problem recently with SUNGARD and the way they do business. I was wondering if anyone else in the business community has run into a similar situation with SUNGARD.

1) A contract is signed for 5 yrs. They never contacted the company once to check in on business practices and equipment level.

2) Contract renewal.
They put in a clause where the contract automatically renews for the original term, but do not contact you until the term has expired.

It is frustrating to see a company operate in this manner.

Thanks
Steve
