Hello - does anyone have any info about or insight on SO 15489 standard? That is the standard published two years ago got for managing business records; and they (ISO) in promoting the standard say cite "Recent scandals, terrorist attacks and natural disasters have highlighted the need for a clear and systematic approach to record keeping"

I was specifcally wondering how any BC/DR pro would you answer the below questions:

1) Why should business continuity professionals be aware of the ISO 15489 standard?

2) How else could BC professional utilize this standard, e.g., for auditing purposes?

Thanks! Dave Hochman
