The biggest question that we ask is about reduncany of the system and lines. Most people believe that if you have one backup line at what ever bandwidth it is a fail over. Most lines are feed from the same circuit path and a disaster on that path will kill all communications.

Ask the company supplying the back bone for telco what they have for failover?
what are you using for power backups?

We specialize in consulting in this area and work with both large and small firms to develop disaster recovery and contigency plans for telecom and data networks.
