Can anyone help me with which industries have truely been jumping on the bandwagon to install Disaster Recovery plans? I understand that this benefits all companies, but are there specific industries that are truely taking advantage of these plans? Any help would be greatly appreciated! : Thanks, -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Veronica, Historically, Banks, insurance and financial services firms have been in the forefront of business continuity planning - wasn't it Dillinger who said something like "that's where the money is?" Seriously, banks have been driven by federal regulations to implement BC plans. More recently, health care providers have moved more aggressively into BC, principally because of HIPAA regulations. Since 9/11, we've seen much more interest and activity from smaller services firms (25 - 1,000 employees) than in the past, and from manufacturing companies.
