Best layout for Command CentrePosted by Patricia Vella (194.242.146.110) on March 03, 2005 at 09:53:32: What have people found to be good layouts for Emergency Command Centre ? We have been conducting a number of Business Continuity exercises internally and usually have a round room arrangement i.e. everyone congregated around a large conference room. This works well if the Emergency team is relatively small. However larger groups have a tendency to break up into smaller discussions so we have experimented with an Auditorium style of layout. This worked well from a command and control perspective but not so well when it came to getting contributions from all participants. I'd be very interested to hear what others have tried and how it worked.
