Career prospectsPosted by Greg (24.7.232.185) on September 25, 2001 at 18:14:52: I have 20 years in IT in a variety of functions ranging from network admin, management, sales and even operations in college. I have exposure to DR planning and execution only in a limited capacity as part of my overall past responsibilities. The WTC incident really hit home with me as I used to do business with many of the companies located there. My questions are few and fairly simple.
Is this a growing field? What do you experts out there see? How many companies are out there that are in the DR consulting end? After the non-event of Y2K I sense a general attitude of skepticism among many CIO's before WTC. What have you experienced? How important is certification? Thanks for your reply.
