Career prospects

I have 20 years in IT in a variety of functions ranging from network admin, management, sales and even operations in college. I have exposure to DR planning and execution only in a limited capacity as part of my overall past responsibilities. The WTC incident really hit home with me as I used to do business with many of the companies located there. My questions are few and fairly simple.

What is the current career employment picture in general DR and specifically IT recovery?

Is this a growing field? What do you experts out there see?

How many companies are out there that are in the DR consulting end?

After the non-event of Y2K I sense a general attitude of skepticism among many CIO's before WTC. What have you experienced?

How important is certification?

Thanks for your reply.
