EDWARD S. DEVLIN'S
BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLANNING COURSES
2 DVDs plus workbook on CD-ROM
by Edward Devlin and BCP Media
Ed Devlin is a leading consultant, author, instructor, and general speaker in the field of
Business Continuity and Business Resumption Planning.
This series of video tutorials provides Business Continuity Planners with a means to educate
all personnel in a business organization to the various sections of a Business Continuity Plan
and the various elements of each section.
While business resumption planning has been around since the early 1970s, it is only within
the last decade that it has reached the multi-faceted and sophisticated level of today. Until
now the descriptions and explanations of the various sections and elements of a Business
Continuity Plan has reached a relatively small percentage of personnel in business
organizations.
It is hoped that the Business Continuity Planning team members to can use this type of
training program:
- Increase executive management's awareness of the need to support the Business
Continuity Project and,
- Help members of the various business units that have been assigned to the
Business Continuity Project better understand what they are trying to accomplish.
This tutorial program has been divided into seven chapters. Each chapter will present an
overview of the elements that comprise a Business Continuity Plan. The chapters in this
program include:
- Chapter One is entitled "What is a Business Continuity Plan."
- Chapter Two is entitled "The Prevention Plan - An Overview"

- Chapter Five is entitled "The Business Units' BRP - An Overview"
- Chapter Six is entitled "The I.S./I.T. BRP - An Overview"
- Chapter Seven is entitled "The LAN BRP - An Overview"
A workbook is included. It shows the slides used during the presentation and allows the

EDWARD S. DEVLIN'S
ADVANCED CRISIS MANAGEMENT PLAN COURSES
Two DVDs plus CD-ROM
by Edward Devlin and BCP Media
One of the most overlooked areas in Business Continuity Planning is the Crisis Management
Plan. While it is essential in handling a crisis, many business continuity planning
professionals receive little or no support from the executives that comprise the Crisis
Management Team.
Edward S. Devlin, CBCP, presents his Crisis Management Methodology, at the DRJ Fall
World Conference in Coronado Springs, Orlando Florida, to 23 Business Continuty
Planners. This video is designed to provide the basics of good “Crisis Management
Planning.” It will also provide suggestions of how to get the members of the Crisis
Management Team to take an active role in the planning.
