will take place on 9th and 10th October 2008 in the English seaside town of Brighton. Through a number of presentations, workshops, debates and networking opportunities, the BCI Symposium will offer insight and knowledge into today’s BCM (business continuity management) drivers. The high standard and variety of papers to be presented will ensure a fresh and innovative approach to the topics that are shaping the world of business continuity.

About the BCI

Established in 1994, the BCI enables individual members to obtain guidance and support from fellow business continuity practitioners. In addition, the BCI Partnership was launched in 2007, enabling organizations to work more closely with the Institute to deliver the overall BCI mission of promoting the art and science of business continuity management worldwide.
The wider role of the BCI and the BCI Partnership is to promote the highest standards of professional competence and commercial ethics in the provision and maintenance of business continuity planning and services.
