Standards Australia Unveils 3-Part Draft BCM Standard
If you follow the business continuity standards scene, you know that some of the best standards in play come from Australia and New Zealand. In keeping with that tradition, Standards Australia recently released a draft version of its three-part Australian and New Zealand Standards for Business Continuity Management.
Upon completion and approval the documents will be bundled under the banner AS 5050.
Public comments on the draft standard are being invited, with a deadline of 29th April 2009. The three elements of the draft standard can be downloaded free of charge from the following links (be sure to register):
- DR 09013 – BCM System – Specification (to be AS 5050.1)
- DR 09014 – BCM System – Practise Standard (to be AS 5050.2)
- DR 09015 – BCM System – Audit and Assurance Standard (to be AS 5050.3)
