As ever, when there is no clear or definite guideline, the resultant confusion about what is and is not required leads to disparate conclusions, or none at all. In light of this new challenge to UK and worldwide businesses, law firm leaders need to focus on planning to make sure they are prepared for the potential effect on their workforce. However, knowing where to start is often the biggest problem. Every business is different, even firms working in the same field – such as law.
