Maybe it's a sign of the difficult economic times, but charging $118 for a standard that's mostly based on NFPA 1600 seems a bit exorbitant. Even the British and ISO standards are more reasonably priced. The NIST 800 Series of Special Publications are free downloads - and they are excellent documents. Now that work on the joint ASIS/BSI American BC standard is about to begin, we hope this effort will not result in us having to pay excessive charges once again.
