Case Study: Fast disaster recovery
Less than three weeks after a fire gutted the Corporate Consumables offices and warehouse in Mt Wellington, New Zealand, the company is running as efficiently as ever.
The fire that broke out on the evening of 17 November, 2009 destroyed a lot of stock, but did little damage to the company’s reputation. If anything, the events enhanced the reputation of Corporate Consumables and its business associates.
The goodwill and efforts of a range of people – including disaster recovery experts, customers and even competitors – helped Corporate Consumables to survive the crisis with minimum disruption.
