3PQ Third Party Questionnaire for Supply Chain BCM Capability


3PQ is a Third Party Questionnaire that can be used freely by Business Continuity Professionals to help manage Supply Chain BCM Capability.

The purpose of this single questionnaire is to provide a common set of basic questions that would enable your organization to obtain the majority of the Business Continuity Management information required from your suppliers, leaving only additional/specific details to be requested as needed.

It is intended that responding organizations would complete one questionnaire a year (amending it if they undergo significant changes) and issue it to those who request it. This would also be the main questionnaire sent out to all third parties where it is deemed necessary to assess their Business Continuity Management arrangements and capabilities.

It is expected that you would attach a covering letter to this questionnaire stating the product, services or works you are referring to and any questions you want additional evidence for.

This questionnaire has been created by a group of public and private sector Business Continuity professionals (from the BANG! Group on LinkedIn.com) who volunteered their time and effort to help the wider community.

The whole idea of this questionnaire is to give a certain level of consistency in terms of the information that is required from third parties, so feel free to include your own branding, but avoid changing the questions.
